When you keep your filter healthy, it keeps your water safe. Clean your Tap Filter at least once per day to help maintain flow rate.

Cleaning Plunger
Before You Start
Have a clean workspace ready.
Wash your hands with soap and water.
Step 01
Filter a cup of water
Filter one cup of water to use for backwashing.
Tip: Make sure to use a clean cup.
Step 02
Remove the filter
While leaving the tap adapter attached to the tap, remove the filter.
Leave the tap adapter attached to the tap.
Step 03
Fill the plunger with water
Fill the cleaning plunger with filtered water.
Step 04
Insert the plunger onto filter
Insert the plunger onto the tip of the filter.
Step 05
Backwash the filter
Forcefully use the palm of your hand to backwash the filter. Repeat this process 3 times or until the water runs clear.
